 REGISTRATION FOR THE 2014 CONFERENCE OPENS: Oct 1 2013
ANWA's TIME OUT FOR WRITERS - FEBRUARY 20-22, 2014
 
Conference registration includes lunch. If you book a room at the Hilton Hotel, 2 complimentary breakfasts are awarded per room, per night. 
 
Conference Registration Fees are $190 for the two-day conference, $125 for Friday only (which includes the evening panel and meet & greet,) and $100 for our Super Saturday.
 
DISCOUNTS - ANWA members receive a $20 discount, which is applied at checkout. All registrations before February 1, 2014 also receive a $10 Early Bird discount.
 
CANCELLATION POLICY - No conference registration cancellations after February 6, 2014 (14 days before.)

  • Pitch Sessions – an appointment to sit down one-on-one with an editor or agent and sell them your book. Time Out For Writers features five different editors and agents representing over 25 categories of books who are here specifically looking for books to buy and authors to represent.

  • ClassesTime Out for Writers has, as of this writing, 13 teachers will present 22 different workshops to help you improve your writing, add to your marketing skills, and prepare your manuscript for sale.
  • A bookstore where published authors can offer their works for sale.
  • The BOB – Beginning of Book – contest is unique to this conference.
  • Social time with like-minded people who understand how an author’s mind is different from the rest of the world.
  • If you happen to be an Arizona teacher, you can receive up to 17 professional development hours on a subject that actually interests you.

Sarah M. Eden is the author of multiple historical romances, including Whitney Award finalists Seeking Persephone (2008) and Courting Miss Lancaster (2010). Combining her obsession with history and an affinity for tender love stories, Sarah loves crafting witty characters and heartfelt romances. She holds a bachelor's degree in research and happily spends hours perusing the reference shelves of her local library. Sarah has twice served as the master of ceremonies for the LDS Storymakers Writers Conference and acted as the writer in residence at the Northwest Writers Retreat. Sarah is represented by Pam van Hylckama Vlieg at Foreword Literary Agency.
